Officially. Russia wants to change maritime borders with Lithuania and Finland unilaterally, Moscow Times.
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has prepared a document according to which Russia intends to declare part of the water area in the east of the Gulf of Finland as its internal sea waters, as well as near the cities of Baltiysk and Zelenogradsk in the Kaliningrad region.
The Ministry of Defence proposes that the 40-year-old resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, which regulates the borders in the Baltic, be partially “recognized as invalid.”
For this purpose, the geographic coordinates of the points that determine the position of the starting lines from which the width of the territorial sea of the Russian Federation, as well as the adjacent zone near the coast and islands are measured, will be changed.
What does it mean? It’s simple, the putter starts using his old bet again – he raises the bets against the West.
Its hybrid aggression also includes training nuclear units and a series of aggressive actions.
The goal is simple – to intimidate the West, hoping the latter will be frightened and retreat.
It is difficult for me to predict the reaction of the NATO countries, but I hope this will force them to join the confrontation with Russia at full strength.
But Russia will not cope with the war on two fronts, just as Nazi Germany did not manage it.
I look at all this and have a strong feeling that history is repeating itself once again.
And therefore, the same end awaits Russia as the Nazis…
