The Supreme Court of Russia, following a lawsuit by the Prosecutor General, declared the “Forum of Free States of Post-Russia” movement, consisting of 172 structural divisions, a “terrorist organization,” the Prosecutor General’s Office reported .
The “Forum of Free Post-Russian States” movement was created in Poland in 2022, the prosecutor’s office said in a press release. Among its “structural divisions,” the agency names the “Baltic Republican Party,” the “Ingria” movement, the Congress of the Peoples of the North Caucasus, the “Free Yakutia” foundation, and the “Far Eastern Confederation.”
The Prosecutor General’s Office claims that the movement sees its goal as dividing Russia into separate states “subject to the influence of unfriendly countries,” and that it is led by “so-called leaders of national-separatist movements hiding abroad.”
The “Forum of Free States of Post-Russia,” as reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office, calls for participation in the war on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the commission of terrorist attacks and sabotage, and assistance to terrorist activities.
The movement’s Telegram channel states that this is a platform for searching for the best solutions to accelerate the “final stage of decolonization” of Russia (in brackets it says “imperial Muscovy”) and the independence of 41 states in the post-Russian spaces.
The Forum of Free States of Post-Russia has not yet appeared on the unified list of terrorist organizations published on the FSB website.
