About 2,000 North Korean soldiers have died in the war against Ukraine, Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korean intelligence data, FREEDOM reports.
In addition, Pyongyang may send additional forces to the front – about 6,000 soldiers as part of the third batch of troop deployment. It is also noted that about 1,000 combat engineers have already arrived in Russia.
According to intelligence, existing troops are deployed in the “rear as reserve forces.”
It should be noted that since October last year, North Korea has provided about 13,000 troops and weapons to support Russia in its war against Ukraine.
