Today, 30 October, the Lviv Regional Council held a roundtable discussion on the topic “Freedom for Nations: How to Destroy the Moscow Empire of Evil.” During the event, people’s deputies, deputies of the Lviv Regional Council, experts, historians, political scientists, and public figures discussed how to defeat the common enemy for all and agreed to cooperate with the enslaved nations of Russia in the cause of the collapse of the so-called Russian Empire.
During the event, the Lviv Regional Council and the State Committee for the Deoccupation of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria signed a memorandum of cooperation and interaction.
The document was signed by the Acting Chairman of the Lviv Regional Council, Yuriy Kholod and the Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Akhmed Zakayev.
The purpose of the memorandum is to confirm solidarity in the fight against Russian aggression, occupation and imperial policy, promote the development of partnership relations in the humanitarian, educational and information spheres, strengthen intercultural dialogue, preserve national and cultural identity, and consolidate efforts to counter disinformation, historical falsifications and propaganda of the Russian occupation regime.
Participants of the “round table” from Ukraine and other countries of the world, who were present live and online, also discussed the possibilities of cooperation between national movements of peoples enslaved by Russia and achieving a just peace through the decolonisation of the Moscow Empire.
The event began with a moment of silence for all the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War, victims of Moscow’s aggression and centuries-old policy of genocide and repression against enslaved nations.
The round table was attended by the Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Akhmed Zakayev, representatives of national movements from Lithuania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kalmykia, people’s deputies of Ukraine, deputies of the Lviv Regional Council, representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies of the Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, representatives of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations, as well as military personnel, historians and experts from Ukraine.
The President of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations, Oleh Medunytsya, spoke about the current moment of the struggle for the collapse of the empire and the steps that the Block is taking for this collapse: working with politicians in Europe and North America, training future government personnel in nations that will free themselves from the imperial yoke.
During the “round table,” they discussed the topic of genocide of enslaved peoples, the experience of the struggle for independence of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, the historical facts of the destruction of the Circassian (Adyghe) people by the Russian Empire, as well as modern initiatives to support liberation movements in the post-Russian space.
Following the discussion, the participants adopted an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine calling for support for draft law No. 11402 on the basic principles of the state policy of Ukraine regarding interaction with the national movements of the colonial peoples of the Russian Federation.
