The Ministry of Education of Chuvashia announced the removal of 48 schoolchildren from the Berdyansk district of the Zaporizhya region to the Brigantina camp. This area was taken under the “patronage” of the head of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev. This summer, another 240 Ukrainian schoolchildren will go to the Cheboksary camp: 180 will go to the second shift, and 60 to the third.
The legally elected head of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said that at first the Russians seized Ukrainian territories and deprived children of at least the Sea of \u200b\u200bAzov, and now they are sending babies 1,600 km from home.
“Then they will manipulate the situation in the Berdyansk area and keep the children as hostages. Ukrainian children are the last thing the enemy thinks about. For them, this is a bargaining chip for blackmail, ”Fyodorov said.
Earlier, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution recognizing the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia as genocide. And in March, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Russian Federation. The removal of children from Zaporozhye may be grounds for recognizing the Chuvash authorities as accomplices in a war crime.
