The UUHL Alliance Congratulated Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and Submitted an Open Letter
On July 17, 2025, the Alliance “Unity of Ukrainians of Historical Lands” (UUHL) sent an official letter to the newly appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Anatoliivna Svyrydenko. In their address, representatives of the Alliance not only congratulated the head of government on her appointment but also raised important issues concerning the protection of the rights of ethnic Ukrainians — especially those originating from territories currently under the control of the Russian Federation and subjected to persecution for their Ukrainian identity.
The Return of Ukrainian Identity: Interview with a Volunteer from Eastern Slobozhanshchyna
Andriy Voron is a volunteer in the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, co-founder of the “Eastern Slobozhanshchyna” movement, and a member of the “Unity of Ukrainians of Historical Lands” (UUHL) Alliance. He hails from Eastern Slobozhanshchyna — ethnically Ukrainian territories that ended up within the borders of so-called russia. His understanding of his Ukrainian identity emerged from a deep interest in the language, history, and culture of his native land — and over time, this awareness turned into active efforts to defend and preserve it, both through education and on the battlefield.
