The speakers represented Turkey, Germany, the USA, Poland, Georgia, Austria, Ukraine, Jordan, Tatarstan, Russia, East Turkestan,  Japan, Ichkeria, Dagestan, Azerbaijan… The issue of international recognition of the genocide of the Circassian people in 1864 was raised. The Circassians spoke of their determination to return to their historical lands and restore an independent state. The speakers spoke about supporting the struggle of the Circassian people for freedom, touched on various aspects of building a new state.

Kenan Kaplan – Chairman of the United Circassian Council:  The Circassian people, after the processes of genocide, exile and assimilation they experienced, saw and realized with all their nakedness the fact that the main condition for preserving its existence and transferring it to the future is the creation of a united and free Circassia.

From the government of independent Tatarstan in exile, Prime Minister Rafis Kashapov spoke online. The chairman of the All-Tatar Public Center, a member of the League of Free Nations Farit Zakiyev, the Ambassador of the Government of independent Tatarstan to the Republic of Turkey Rais Mukhutdinov spoke at the Conference and read out the Address of the Prime Minister of the PNT in exile in Turkish. Timur Islamov, founder of the Timur Islamov Foundation, also took part.
Our colleagues shared their impressions of participation in the International Conference on the Independence of Circassia.

Rafis Kashapov: “It was noteworthy that well-known international politicians from different countries, including America, Europe and Ukraine, supported the Circassian people in their struggle for independence. The Prime Minister of the Government of East Turkistan in exile Salih Khudayar mentioned in his speech also about Tatarstan and Ichkeria. This is a new stage for further fruitful cooperation at the international level.”

Farit Zakiev: “I was inspired by this Conference for the further struggle for the Independence of Tatarstan. I spoke about the relevance of the joint struggle of national organizations for the complete international isolation of the country – the aggressor Russia.
“This is a significant, strong event. Despite the fact that national movements today are small and most often do not have enough resources, it is now that new meanings are being created on which new state formations will be built after the inevitable collapse of the Russian Federation. Regarding Circassia and the Caucasian issue – this conference showed that the Caucasian communities today have strong leaders, strong ideologists, real scientists who create the foundation for the future of the Caucasus.”

Let your people be united, like one big family! We wish the Council of the United Circassia new achievements and victories, and the Circassian people to gain true sovereignty and build an independent state!
