The head of the Ingush Independence Committee, Ansar Garkho, held his first official meeting in the Crimean Tatar Mejlis with the head of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov and Mustafa Dzhemilev, the leader of the Crimean Tatar national movement.
At the meeting, issues of cooperation, mutual support and various projects in the humanitarian and political spheres were discussed.
The Crimean Tatar people and the Ingush are united by a common faith, the history of Stalin’s deportation and centuries-old opposition to Russia in its demands, leaving our peoples with their historical family, faith, language, culture and future.
Mustafa Dzhemilev, who himself went through deportation, exile, prisons and camps for fighting for the right of his people to the Motherland, expressed his warm support for the Ingush who stood on the path of independence of Ingushetia from the Russian occupation.
