One of the territories of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Udmurtia, intends to become the independent Democratic Republic of Udmurtia. Co-chairman of the liberation movement “For the Independence of Udmurtia” Sergei Antonov stated this in an interview with the Afanasevpress YouTube channel. Antonov is confident that it was Moscow’s colonial policy, which “raked out” 80% of Udmurtia’s income, and the system of Kremlin governors that turned the republic into a dying territory.
Even the pride of Udmurtia, the factories of the Kalashnikov concern, are registered outside the borders of Udmurtia and do not pay taxes at home. All this has led to the fact that today the residents of Udmurtia are ready to secede from the Russian Federation and are even ready, if necessary, to take independence by force. – When will this happen? – How would this happen? -Who should be afraid of the new government? – What will the Democratic Republic of Udmurtia be like?
