Those who see the necessity and inevitability of the last stage of the collapse of the sadistic empire need to study precisely these events related to how Georgia fought for independence, what it cost, what cunning schemes the Kremlin came up with to prevent the collapse of the USSR, and then – when this the process became inevitable – how the Kremlin “saddled and led” this process.
When the commission to investigate the dispersal of this rally, organized by Zviad Gamsakhurdia and Merab Kostava, and brutally dispersed with the use of chemical weapons, was headed by Sakharov, it began to move forward in the investigation.
Suddenly, in December of the same year, Sakharov died, and Sobchak headed the commission.
Two excerpts from his report are enough to understand that he has led the investigation into a swamp. General Rodionov, who commanded the punitive operation, was appointed by Yeltsin in 1996 as Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.
Sobchak’s report contains stunning passages that the victims of 9 April in Tbilisi are themselves to blame.
We need to be more resistant to damaging factors, such as poisons and sapper blades, laments Anatoly Sobchak.
Don’t wander around Rustaveli at 4 am when your biological rhythms are not working.
Especially when you, who out of fear wanted the freedom of Sakartvelo, come to kill a beast trained for blood – trained by the then Prigozhin with a sledgehammer.
“The “displacement” operation was carried out at night (4-5 am local time). This circumstance must be specially noted, since at night, by the nature of biological rhythms, a person’s reactivity and resistance to the action of damaging factors sharply decreases.”
Well, among other things, there is no need to be so nervous and create panic out of nowhere. This spoils the statistics, says Anatoly Sobchak:
“It is very difficult to analyze the course of people’s illnesses who sought medical care for poisoning.
This circumstance, as well as panic rumors, concealing of the use of agents, uncertainty in diagnosis, as well as published calls to seek medical help – all this and some other circumstances determined the wave-like nature of the number of requests for medical help over the next month.
A special place among these phenomena is occupied by cases of “secondary effects of poisoning” – for example, an outbreak of appeals on 28 April of this year, after flowers were transferred from the Government House to the church. The circumstances surrounding this event are still unclear.
The Commission believes that even in cases where complaints about deteriorating health were based only on the victims’ own indications of contact with agents, can these cases reasonably be qualified as a manifestation of the “reaction syndrome to a mass disaster.”
These are passages from the investigation of the Night of Sapper Shovels by the Sobchak Commission.
Some employees of the Russian service of Radio Liberty had exactly the same reaction when I tried to tell them what horror we had to endure in Tbilisi.
That is, “mass disaster reaction syndrome.”
Breathe deeply, don’t think about it and don’t try to find out the truth.”
Today we are told that the USSR collapsed easily and with little bloodshed. No, the USSR collapsed at an incredible cost. In many ways, at a price paid with Georgian blood and thanks to the titanic efforts of Zviad Gamsakhurdia.
The Kremlin understood that since the collapse of the USSR could not be stopped, they would have to take control of this process.
Standing in the way of their plans was the real, and not the “fictitious” leader of independent Georgia – Zviad Gamsakhurdia, elected by us, the citizens of Georgia, as the first president of Georgia.
In December 1991, they carried out a new punitive operation against Rustaveli, accompanied by lies on Russian channels.
And Sobchak, immediately after the reprisal against Zviad, said in the “Without Retouching” programme in 1992: “I warned the Georgian people that if they elect Zviad Gamsakhurdia, this will not end well for the Georgian people.”
Friends, watch the hands of the “good Russians” today.
They are the ones who play the role of “Sobchak” today.
It is they who will strive to lead the process of the final collapse of the Russian empire, push out the real leaders of national movements and replace them with their own, as they did with Zviad Gamsakhurdia.
