I would like to address the heads of various Western foundations for the “development of democracy,” “freedom of speech,” and “free Russia.”
It is you who are responsible today for the fact that the horde of so-called “good Russians” has support.
With your light hand, lies are spread, concepts are substituted, and history is rewritten.
Russia’s real victims remain silent.
You are depriving them of the opportunity to convey the truth to the world.
It is a crime.
You have no right to obstruct the truth.
You allow people who are involved in crimes against humanity, like Khodorkovsky, not only to get away with it. You enable them to be respected and shake their hands in the West today. You give them platforms, you finance them, you give them political support.
This is a mockery of hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed and tortured, whose rights are not represented by anyone.
This will not work.
If you are selective, if you side with the murderers, make a statement openly.
Call yourselves the Assistance Funds for Killers.
But if you call yourself “Democracy Foundations,” or “Freedom of Speech Foundations,” you should give a voice to those who represent the dead.
First of all, these are the Chechen people.
Allow us to tell the whole truth about the independence of Ichkeria, about the Russian-Chechen war, about Russia’s war crimes.
I understand that Western politicians made a fatal mistake by betting on “democratic reforms” in Moscow in 1991. But this must be acknowledged.
Stop cowardly burying your head in the sand. Time is working against you. The more you remain silent, the more bad suspicions arise about the premeditation of your actions and complicity in Russia’s crimes.
You support dozens of Russian-language media resources that continue to hide the truth about the crimes of Yeltsin’s Russia. These resources are now engaged in spreading false narratives.
I suspect that the grants that these media platforms receive from you contain these “themes”.
If this is not the case, you must immediately deal with the business of the “good Russians” in exploiting the topic of “Kadyrov’s violation of human rights in Russia.”
The Proekt film about Kadyrov, Ganapolsky’s anti-Muslim stream, Khodorkovsky’s interview with Yuri Dud — all of this smacks of “grant themes” for unscrupulous grant recipients.
The fact that the wave of anti-Chechen propaganda comes from one source is obvious to all observers.
I call for a centralized audit of these “Democracy Development Funds” – what the so-called “Calls” that accept applications for grants look like, what is written in the narratives and what is written in the reports on these grants.
I see a criminal element in this shameless business of “good Russians” on the grief and deaths of others.
The false narratives in the interests of Russia, centrally heard from the mouths of hundreds of Russian agents planted in the West and Ukraine, give rise to the nasty thought that these are trained agents.
Russian agents, who, in the event of “Peace talks” with Ukraine and Zelensky’s arms being twisted, will begin to throw in prepared narratives that are beneficial to Russia.
And in these narratives we will not recognize the truth that we ourselves are experiencing today, burying the best representatives of the Ukrainian people.
Demonstrate that this is not the case.
Show that you are not on the side of evil.
I cannot speak in black and white, having watched this carnival of dishonour for thirty years.
You supported the terrible man Eduard Shevardnadze, giving him the “bright image of a democrat.”
You supported Boris Yeltsin, endowing him with the “bright qualities of democracy.”
Now you support Khodorkovsky, and you also want to convince the whole world with force and money that he is the personification of truth, honour and light, while he is a murderer of Chechen children.
Dear office workers, clerks, bureaucrats, clinging to their warm, cozy chairs and social rations, wearing out their pants in offices for the development of democracy and freedom of speech, even though you post cats, dogs, flowers and “nothing political”, know that you are now committing a crime.
You are conspiring with murderers.
You will have to answer for this sooner or later.
