Andrey Vasyurenko is a student from Karelia who was arrested at the age of 18 for calling for the independence of Karelia and supporting Ukraine. He was accused of attempted “treason” and sentenced to 9 years in prison.
Andrei is one of the youngest political prisoners in Russia, and he is persecuted for seeking freedom for his people. We have to protect him from the repressive machine of the regime.
