On February 7, 2025, the Leninsky District “Court” of Izhevsk sentenced six participants of the people’s gathering in Baymak to terms ranging from four and a half to five years in prison.
Fatih Akhmetshin was sentenced to four and a half years in prison,
Vilyur Karachurin – five years of imprisonment,
Aitugan Malabaev – five years in prison,
Azat Mirzin – four and a half years in prison,
Danis Uzyanbaev – four and a half years of imprisonment,
Venera Yaubasarova – four and a half years of imprisonment.
This punitive action continued a whole series of kidnappings and demonstrative reprisals against the civil society of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the most active representatives of the Bashkir People. Before this, similar “trials” had already taken place in Izhevsk, Orsk, Samara, Orenburg and Tolyatti:
Khalid Ishkuvatov was sentenced to five and a half years in prison,
Ilfat Ishmuratov – four and a half years in prison,
Zakir Kulmukhametov – four and a half years in prison,
Ilnar Asylguzhin – eight and a half years (!) of imprisonment,
Aigiz Ishmurzin – eight and a half years (!) of imprisonment,
Rafil Utyabaev – eight and a half years (!) of imprisonment,
Fanur Khazhin – six years of imprisonment,
Fangiz Sharifgaleev – five and a half years in prison,
Ilshat Ulyabaev was sentenced to 5 years in prison,
Minziy Adigamov up to 4 years …
To deprive citizens of the ability to defend their rights and humiliate the proud people of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and also realizing that people would come out to new protests against the unjust sentences of prisoners of the Baymak events, the federal authorities committed several crimes against activists, kidnapping them and taking them out of the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The murder of Rifat Dautov, and the driving to the suicide of Minniyar Baiguskarov – this is a clear confirmation of the fact that on the territory of the so-called “Russian Federation”, the law does not apply, the right is trampled, and the courts pursue a single goal – repressions ordered “from above”. At the moment, four more trials are taking place in Orenburg, and although the sentences have not yet been handed down, it is quite obvious what terms Moscow is demanding.
In connection with several gross violations of citizens’ rights of the Republic of Bashkortostan, expressing the will of the people of the Republic of Bashkortostan, their anger, in connection with an unfair and unjust decision regarding citizens of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a gross violation of several articles of the Constitution of the Republic of Bashkortostan, namely:
Article 2: A person’s rights and freedoms are the highest value in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Recognition, observance and protection of the rights and freedoms of a person and citizen is the duty of the Republic of Bashkortostan as a state;

Article 6: State power in the Republic of Bashkortostan is exercised by the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the courts of the Republic of Bashkortostan;
Article 7: Local self-government is recognized and guaranteed in the Republic of Bashkortostan;

The Committee of the Bashkir National Movement Abroad:

Calls for all possible assistance and support to the families of those unlawfully convicted;
The Committee of the Bashkir National Movement Abroad, realizing that the countdown of time for Putin’s bandit regime has begun in months, and the collapse of the so-called “Russian Federation” is inevitable, calls on every judge, prosecutor and policeman to think about their immediate future – and to refrain from participating in such “trials”.
