Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Today, from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, we, national deputies – Ihor Guz, Solomiya Bobrovska, Volodymyr Viatrovych and other colleagues – spoke in support of the fraternal Georgian people, who continue their struggle for freedom.

Speech by National Deputy of Ukraine Ihor Huzy:

Dear friends!

Today, from this rostrum, I want to address the fraternal Georgian people with words of support.

Georgians have been mercilessly fighting the dictatorship of pro-Russian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili for several months. We see the beating of protesters, mass arrests, and the closure of independent media outlets – the Kremlin’s script,  Putin discourse, is being imposed in Georgia.

But I want to tell the Georgians: Hold on! I want to separately address Mikhail Saakashvili: Hold on, dear friend! You will be free, just as Georgia will be free!

The Ukrainian Parliament and the entire Ukrainian people – together with the Georgians who are now protesting in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori and dozens of other cities! Hold on, brothers!

Speech by National Deputy of Ukraine Oksana Savchuk:

Now the Georgian government is going against its own people. We value the Georgian nation, respect its sovereignty, and thank the Georgians who are fighting against Russia side by side with the Ukrainians.

Don’t let collaborators seize power in Georgia!

Speech by National Deputy of Ukraine Volodymyr Viatrovych:

Global changes in the world have shifted attention away from Georgia, but the struggle for freedom continues there. This is important for us Ukrainians because we have a common enemy – the Russian Federation.

The Kremlin wants the world to forget about Georgia. The Kremlin wants the world to forget about Ukraine. The Kremlin wants to install a pro-Russian government and turn our countries into vassals of Russia.

Therefore, we must remember Georgia. We must support Georgia. This is our common struggle for freedom!

Speech by National Deputy of Ukraine Ivan Krulko:

Georgia must be free! Georgia will be free, just as Ukraine will be free!

Now, it is here – in Ukraine and Georgia – that the future of Europe, the future of the security of the free world, is being decided.

Therefore, we call on Georgians: do not give up! Just as Ukrainians during the Revolution of Dignity drove out Yanukovych with wooden shields and sticks, you too will drive out the pro-Russian government!

Believe in your strength! Believe in victory! And it will definitely come!

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Georgia!

Speech by National Deputy of Ukraine Solomiya Bobrovska:

I also want to emphasize: that Georgia itself left the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which proves the inability of this government to hold fair democratic elections.

I appeal to all heads of factions and the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – return the Resolution on the non-recognition of the elections in Georgia!

Sakartvelo! (Georgia!) Ukraine is with you!
