A 20-year-old Lithuanian, Tomas Valentelis, died fighting for Ukraine. This was reported by LRT. The information about the death of Tomas was also confirmed by his father, Dainius Valentelis. He said that first, they would say goodbye to his son in Kyiv, and then he would be brought to Lithuania.
Tomas previously lived in the UK, but less than six months ago he joined the Ukrainian International Legion.
He died while performing a combat mission in the Kupyanskyi district of the Kharkiv region: this was his first trip to the front.
