Today, a new batch of humanitarian aid is urgently departing from the Sumgait Technological Park, on the instructions of the top leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
The cargo includes:
• 11 powerful generators and 5 transformers;
• over 27,000 metres of cable and wires;
• 29 units of low-voltage panels.
This aid package is a very timely and important contribution to restoring the energy system and strengthening Ukraine’s energy security after the Russian terrorist attacks.
We are sincerely grateful to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the entire leadership and people of Azerbaijan for their constant support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
This once again confirms the true strategic partnership and strong friendship between our countries, as well as the willingness to support each other in difficult times and jointly bring a just peace closer.
