Let those who knew him well tell us about him. I can only tell you about his incredible irony to everything in the world – even to death, not to mention his fellow tribesmen (he often repeated: “When my relatives bit the horse in the ditch”). He had no irony only about Ukraine and in one of his last posts he wrote that Ukraine is Polinka’s daughter, it is love, it is freedom of choice. He was Kazakh, but became Ukrainian. Andriy Kudabekov fought in the ATO in 2014, founded the Vovkulak training centre in Chernihiv, to which many boys owe their survival on the battlefield. He fought just recently.
They write – died. They don’t write – how… Maybe it’s a mistake? … I remember he was very surprised when I asked which Zhus he belonged to. He did not answer. But, probably, to the Younger, because he is the most warlike among the three Kazakh zhus families. Andriy was a warrior. And he died with a weapon in his hands. Defending what he loved – Ukraine.
