The leadership of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists cordially congratulates you on the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the Act of Proclamation of Independence of Ukraine!
On 24 August 1991, the age-old dream of the Ukrainian nation for an independent and sovereign state was fulfilled. “Continuing the thousand-year tradition of state formation in Ukraine, based on the right to self-determination, the Verkhovna Rada solemnly proclaims the independence of Ukraine. The territory of Ukraine is indivisible and inviolable,” is inscribed in this fateful document.
And therefore, today, in the conditions of a full-scale war with Moscow, in the conditions of difficult negotiations regarding the possible suspension of this war, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and the entire Ukrainian people emphasize and repeat these fundamental words: “The territory of Ukraine is indivisible and inviolable!”
For the indivisibility and unity of the Ukrainian State, from the victorious antiquity to the heroic present, the highest price has been paid: the lives of hundreds of thousands of the best sons and daughters of Ukraine. Their feat, laid on the altar of the struggle for freedom, gives the Ukrainian nation the highest mandate to protect, defend and establish its own state. And it is the Ukrainian nation and its armed vanguard, the defence forces of Ukraine, that are the main guarantors of the independence and unity of the Ukrainian State.
On this holiday, we bow our knees in memory of the fallen Heroes and pray to the Lord God for all who defend their native land, because whoever is a fighter conquers the world and leads our invincible Nation to Victory!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
