The Head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Bandera) Oleh Medunytsia commented on the need to activate Ukraine in support of enslaved peoples.
“We have to draw the right conclusions from history – emphasized Oleh Medunytsia. – For example, let’s analyze the Central Asian uprising of 1916. Then the peoples of the Volga region, the North Caucasus, the Idel-Urals and Central Asia rose up against the authorities in St. Petersburg. The main reasons for the uprising are the failures of the Russian army at the front, the mobilization of “foreigners”, forced requisitions of property. Then the chaotic rebellion was defeated. According to various estimates, 100,000 to 500,000 insurgents and civilians will be killed. Whole cities burned and the countryside was devastated. In fact, then Russia was forced to fight on three fronts.
Today, when Putin continues to push tens of thousands of representatives of the indigenous peoples of Russia into the furnace of Russian aggression, the enlightenment of consciousness will inevitably come. And they will rise.
We are already giving them a signpost and convincing them that they will not win freedom without sacrifices. But slavery will give greater sacrifices. And it seems to me that the further our work moves, they understand it more.
And unlike the time when they were unarmed among the Asian steppes against the imperial troops, now they will have someone to rely on.
