Ruslan Gabbasov, Chairman of the Committee of the Bashkir National Movement Abroad and member of the League of Free Nations, commented on the annual address by Radiy Khabirov, Putin’s Gauleiter of occupied Bashkortostan, which was entirely dedicated to the Bashkir National Movement Abroad:
“In reality, he’s driven by fear. Criminal cases of corruption in the republic are on the rise, and many defendants are testifying against the head himself. His only chance of clinging to power is war.”
Ruslan Gabbasov noted that this message is addressed not to Bashkortostan, but to Moscow, and will cause “extreme irritation” among ordinary people. Khabirov is turning the republic into a “war zone,” turning a blind eye to corruption and economic problems.
