A combat medic and volunteer Peter Fouché died at the front. He was a citizen of Great Britain, and he went to Ukraine at the beginning of a full-scale war.
The Project Konstantin charitable foundation reported the defender’s death.
Before the full-scale invasion began, Peter Fouche was living in London and working as a carpenter. Even earlier, he was a policeman.
In March 2022, the man left his home and came to Ukraine as a volunteer. He participated in the creation of a field hospital in Brovary, and later underwent medical training and joined the Teroborona.

Peter Fouché was also a co-founder of the Project Konstantin charity fund, named in honour of a comrade who died during the battles for Kherson. It ensures the evacuation of wounded soldiers, provides servicemen with vehicles and other necessary equipment, and conducts medical training.
In January 2024, Peter Fouche took the oath and officially joined the Armed Forces as a combat medic.
In April, the defender’s 87-year-old mother, Rose Fouche, came to Kharkiv Oblast from South Africa to meet her son. Before that, they had not seen each other for two years.
“Pete’s unwavering dedication, boundless compassion and unwavering commitment to Ukraine and its people left an indelible mark on the countless lives he touched.
His heroism knew no bounds. He took an active part in the rescue of more than 200 wounded Ukrainian soldiers, the evacuation of the civilian population from the most dangerous front-line cities, as well as in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of these cities.
Pete’s bravery and selflessness in the face of danger were extraordinary, and his actions will forever be etched in our hearts,” the charity wrote.
Peter is survived by a 15-year-old daughter, Nicola. According to the defender, it was for her sake that he went to Ukraine.
“I love you and I want to stay with you, but you are safe. And the children there are not. They need protection,” said Peter to his daughter before leaving.
The Anti-Imperial Block of Nations expresses its sincere condolences to the Hero’s family, his combat brothers and the friendly people of Great Britain.
His feat will never be forgotten by grateful Ukrainians.
