The websites of the “Free Nations League” and the “Free Nations of Post-Russia Forum” were blocked again in Russia, writes “OVD-Info” . The first blockages occurred in August and October 2022.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia recognized both movements as “undesirable organizations.” According to the department, the organizations come up with separatist slogans and pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and security of Russia.
As noted by Roskomsvoboda, earlier access to sites was limited by a “mask”, that is, with all domains and subdomains. Now, only the sites themselves have been blocked.
The “Free Nations League” and the “Free Nations of Post-Russia Forum” unite the liberation movements of several nations and regions of Russia.
The Free Nations League was created in the late spring of 2022. In it, the interests of the Tatars are represented by Rafis Kashapov , Farit Zakiyev and Irshat Harbi , and the Erzyans are represented by Syres Bolyaen .
The “Free Nations of Post-Russia Forum” is a social movement that unites activists who demand greater independence for the Russian regions, up to and including their secession from the Russian Federation.
This weekend, the current Russian MP Vladislav Zhivitsa announced the creation of a movement for the independence of the Smolensk region.
