President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi made a statement on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War.
The appeal was made public, in particular, in the President of Ukraine’s Telegram channel.
“The world slept through the revival of Nazism — at 5 a.m. on February 24, 2022. Today, everyone who remembers the Second World War and lived to this day feels deja vu,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
He recalled the consequences of the large-scale invasion of the Russian invaders into Ukraine: the battle for Kyiv, the bombing of Kharkiv, Odesa, and the Dnipro, mass graves, deportation of children, filtration camps and prison camps.
According to the President of Ukraine, Russia has returned pages from the textbooks about the Second World War to the headlines of the world mass media, proving with each new crime that Nazism was reborn. Only with the new label: “Made in Russia”.
“Only the united free world can stop this, as in 1945. United in an anti-Putin coalition. Not with words, but with actions, it can stop the Nazis of Moscow, preventing new evil from spreading to the entire European continent, and later to the entire world. To prove loyalty to the words “Never again!”, so that “Never again!” was relevant again,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
As reported by ArmyInform, Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine on 8 May 2024.
