The history of Moscow banditry (a brief chronicle)
The history of today’s Russia begins not in Kyiv, but with the Moscow principality, whose “true founder… was the son of Nevsky, Danyil (1263-1303), who received Moscow as an inheritance” (V. Milkovich, 1903). However, the prominent Russian historian V. Klyuchevskii, relying on specific historical data, writes the following: “Moscow state was born and expanded in the 15th and 16th centuries. in the midst of a persistent struggle for its existence in the west, south and southeast”. Regarding the appearance of the Russian, or rather Muscovite, people, the same V. Milkovich in his “History of Mankind” writes that during the time of Ivan, the “fusion” of “Slavized Finno-Ugric tribes with the Mongol-Tatars” began.
