At the end of December, the first course of study at the University of Free Nations — an educational project created to train national liberation movement leaders of enslaved nations of the Russian Federation — ended. Graduates of the University, who completed the course programme, passed the final test and successfully defended their graduation projects, received certificates for completing their studies.
According to the organizers, the University teaches both how to build successful and self-sufficient free states and how to destroy the so-called “Russian Federation”.
“The first experience of organizing an educational course for representatives of enslaved nations turned out to be quite successful,” said Oleh Medunytsia, one of the initiators of the creation of UVN, head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Banderites), during the final meeting of project participants and partners. We not only restored the OUN (b) tradition of supporting enslaved nations but also, for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, implemented the idea of systematic training and preparation of future leaders of those states that will emerge after the collapse of the Moscow empire.”
The head of the educational project of the University of the Free Nations, Leontii Shypilov, noted that the organizers managed to find a good balance between theoretical and practical classes, involving the best experts in Ukraine in matters of state building, international law, the history of the national liberation movement, information technology and cyber security.
The head of the parliamentary Temporary Special Commission on Developing Basic Principles of State Policy Regarding Interaction with National Movements of Small and Indigenous Nations, National Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Yurchyshyn supported the idea of more active involvement of teachers and students of the University of Free Nations in the process of forming state policy in the field of supporting the struggle of enslaved nations.
Graduates of UVN, who studied online, sent their final video messages in which they shared their impressions of their studies. In particular, the deputy prime minister of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in exile, Aida Abdrakhmanova, an activist of the League of Free Nations, noted that soon the acquired knowledge and recommendations will be applied in practice, within the framework of the struggle for the independence of Tatarstan.
Simultaneously with the graduation of the first cohort of students of the University, it was announced that recruitment for new classes in the UVN course will take place in the first half of 2024. In general, the organizers plan to graduate two courses of trainees annually.
