Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, at least 13,002 natives of the Volga region have been killed.
The largest number of those liquidated are from Bashkortostan (1,852 people). In second place according to this criterion is Tatarstan (1,453 people). In third place is the Perm Territory (1,358 people).
The largest group of military personnel (938 people) were liquidated at the age of 30-34 years. In total, at least 2,640 people were killed before the age of 35—that’s 20.3%.
In terms of the number of liquidated men per 100 thousand male population, the Mari El Republic was in first place with 212 deaths per 100 thousand. Next come the Kirov region – 200 people per 100 thousand, the Orenburg region – 187.5 per 100 thousand male population and the Perm Territory – 184 The actual numbers of those destroyed are an order of magnitude higher.
