Anti-imperial Block of Nations
The withdrawal of the Russian military from Nagorno-Karabakh was announced by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. Earlier, the departure was noticed in the Azerbaijani media. The military was supposed to remain in the region until 2025.
On 19 September 2023, during a one-day military operation, Azerbaijan took control of Nagorno-Karabakh. As a result, about one hundred thousand Armenians of Karabakh were forced to leave their homes.
