The list of “terrorists and extremists” compiled by Rosfinmonitoring includes 14-year-old Gleb Sinitsyn from Ivanovo. It is unknown what exactly he is accused of. Rosfinmonitoring’s list includes people who have been convicted of crimes related to terrorism and extremism, as well as those who are only suspected or accused of committing such crimes.

Gleb Sinitsyn is not the first teenager included in this list. According to Kholod’s calculations, three more teenagers born in 2009 are included in the list of “terrorists and extremists”: Ruslan Valiulin from Kaluga, Yegor Lauskis from St. Petersburg and Artem Lyashenko from Kemerovo (all of them are 15 years old). In addition, the Rosfinmonitoring list also includes 16 people born in 2008, 34 people born in 2007 and 49 people born in 2006 (25 of them are minors as of early July). In total, the list includes 79 teenagers under 18.

According to media reports, the list has recently been growing more actively than previously. Novaya Gazeta, Europe calculated, that 669 people were added to the list in the first three months of 2024, a record compared to similar periods since at least 2019.

The Rosfinmonitoring list also includes former TV presenter  Tatyana Lazareva, actor  Alexei Panin, writer  Boris Akunin, sociologist  Boris Kagarlitsky, journalist  Karen Shainyan and many others. In total, the list, as of early July 2024, includes almost 15 thousand people.
