Anti-imperial Block of Nations

At the time of the Declaration of Independence in August 1991, when the largest European country appeared again on the map of Europe, Ukraine possessed the world’s third largest nuclear stockpile. In 1994, the country traded the most formidable weapons in the world for paper guarantees in Budapest that no one intended to honour. Moreover, one of the guarantors more than ten years ago started an armed aggression against Ukraine, which became the largest and bloodiest war in Europe after the end of World War II.

The goals of this war are obvious: the complete destruction of any form of Ukrainian subject statehood and Ukrainian identity. By the way, the American Institute for the Study of War recently loudly confirmed this very goal. Russia enacts this without regard for international law.

Nuclear terrorism, mass war crimes, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure and social facilities “scream” about the genocidal nature of Russian aggression every day.

On 8 July, on the so-called “Russian Day of Family, Love and Loyalty”, at a time when the crazy Russian dictator plunged into the arms of the leader of the world’s most populous country, India, Putin resorted to a cynical attack on the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine and a maternity hospital in Kyiv. Dozens of civilians were killed. Just on the eve of the NATO summit anniversary in Washington, at which Ukraine was once again fed “breakfast”, Putin once again sent a “hello” to his strategic enemies. He said that nothing will stop him from achieving his goals. Because he knows that there will be no proper reaction in response “in order not to increase the escalation”. There will be assurances to be with Ukraine as long as necessary, words of support, and promises to once again finally fulfill the promise. No sufficient action to stop unconditional international crime.

Hospitals and educational institutions are under the Geneva Conventions’ protection, which are strictly prohibited from attack or fire under any circumstances. However, since the full-scale attack, almost half of the medical institutions and at least one in five educational institutions have come under deliberate attack by Russia. More than 1,696 medical facilities and more than 3,797 educational buildings were destroyed or damaged as a result of Russian attacks. Along with this, Russia ruthlessly destroys heat and electricity supply systems, aiming to destroy any conditions for civilian life.

To force Ukraine to capitulate on its own terms and force the world to swallow it and even try to explain it is a strategy that Russia is implementing brazenly and cynically.

At the same time, when Ukraine is begging for help to protect peaceful cities from total destruction, and the allies are raising their hands and feeding them with promises, Poland, for example, receives a huge loan from the USA for the purchase of air defence systems, tanks and planes. At a time when the skies of a non-belligerent country will soon be closed by the most modern F-35 aircraft, there is no way that forty-year-old F-16s can fly to Ukraine.

The goal of shelling Ukraine on 8 July is obvious – to break the resistance of Ukrainians. At a time when more and more “peacemakers” and Putin sympathizers are growing in the world, Ukrainians, maintaining a great fighting spirit for more than two years, believe in victory and are ready to continue the struggle. On 8 July, near the ruins of the oncology department of the largest children’s hospital in the country, Ukrainians once again showed the world an example of a nation that cannot be broken, which, like ants, gathers immediately after the missile terror to help the survivors, which goes to protest and solidarity actions in all corners, wherever, and does not give up on life. On opening the accounts of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises, for the reconstruction of the damaged hospital, ordinary Ukrainians donated at least hundreds of millions of hryvnias for these needs.

On the same day, the Ukrainian diaspora in New York, Washington and Chicago came out to tell the world about this terrible crime. Cells of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations hold solidarity actions in many countries. On Tuesday, the actions spread to the European continent and will continue throughout the week. For example, Ukrainians in Madrid, led by ABN Council member Yuriy Chopyk, came out in support of Ukraine. On Wednesday, events were held in Paris and London. On Thursday, with the participation of representatives of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations, the action will be held in Portugal.

Representatives of nations enslaved by Russia spoke in support of Ukraine. The Anti-Imperial Block of the Nations requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council. The UN Security Council, convened at the request of Ukraine, once again stated the terrible crimes against humanity and the criminal nature of the war. At the same time, this body is still chaired by an aggressor country, which fraudulently took a seat in the UN and defiantly violates international law. By the way, immediately after the UN meeting, Russia arranged a ceremonial reception, where the main dish was “Kyiv cutlet”.

The participants of the anniversary NATO summit in Washington also responded promptly, promising to allocate more than a billion dollars worth of air defence equipment for the defence of Ukraine.

At the same time, in contrast to the extremely sluggish reaction of world actors, Ukrainians once again showed the world an example of extraordinary unity, faith and will. That which the world so desperately needs to replace the deranged Kremlin dwarf.
