In Bashkortostan, temporarily occupied by Russia, a petrochemical complex has probably been attacked again

Residents report loud noises.

On 18 September, the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat enterprise was already attacked by drones.

Gazprom Neftokhim Salavat LLC, a subsidiary of Gazprom PJSC, operates the largest oil refining complex in southern Bashkortostan. The enterprise is engaged in a full cycle of hydrocarbon processing and produces over 150 types of products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and polyethylene. According to the Rusprofile service, in 2024, the company’s revenue amounted to 303 billion rubles, and net profit was 4.4 billion rubles.

The Kremlin-controlled head of Bashkortostan confirmed the attack on Gazprom Neftokhim Salavat.

“Gazprom Neftokhim Salavat has suffered another terrorist attack by drones. We are determining the extent of the damage. All emergency services are working on the scene, we are taking measures to extinguish the fire,” the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, wrote on the TG channel.
