Shortly thereafter, Turarbek Kusainov’s Facebook page was blocked. We have long known that FSB generals are monitoring the activities of the government of independent Tatarstan in exile. Moreover, over the past five or six months, approximately seven publications by the government of independent Tatarstan in exile have been deleted without explanation—a clear sign that the FSB is extending its influence even beyond Russia’s borders. Furthermore, a number of disturbing incidents involving our colleagues have recently occurred; deliberate attempts are being made to create unbearable conditions for us.
