– A declaration was signed on the recognition and cooperation of the Bashkir and Tatar national movements. Can we say that this is the first step towards the collapse of the Russian Federation?
Yes, this could be the first step towards the collapse of Russia. I want to remember history. Even 25 years ago, there were confrontations between the Tatars and the Bashkirs because of Moscow’s politics. Discord was created because we are Turks and Muslims. It is very dangerous for Moscow when Tatars and Bashkirs are united. Indeed, in the Russian Federation they are afraid that the peoples will want to be free and create independent states. Indeed, on April 14, the Government of independent Tatarstan and the Committee of the Bashkir National Movement Abroad signed, on behalf of the Tatars, I and Aida Abdrakhmanov, and on behalf of the Bashkorts Ruslan Gabbasov, Ilshat Kinzyabaev, a joint Declaration on mutual recognition and cooperation. After signing the declaration, I received many pleasant calls from my compatriots, Kazakhs, Chechens, Azerbaijanis, Turks, Chuvashs, Ukrainians and Belarusians. After all, people understand that the union of Tatars and Bashkirs is a powerful force. After all, if numerous peoples can unite, then this will lead to the collapse of the Russian Federation. We were also recently supported by the Chuvash leaders. They also want to join this declaration. If other peoples join us, then we will have a powerful bloc and we will be able to work against the Russian invaders in the republics of Idel-Ural. We are also being watched by representatives of the national movements of Siberia and the Caucasus. I do not rule out that representatives of the peoples of the Caucasus and Siberia can unite in the same format and after that begin a movement to secede from the Russian Federation. We will have to coordinate with the peoples of the Caucasus and Siberia in order to march against Moscow as a united front. To do this, we will need help from the countries of NATO and Europe, so that they finance and arm us.
– How long will it take for the above republics to secede from the Russian Federation and Russia to disintegrate?
– It will take 1 to 3 years. Maybe even earlier. After all, when the USSR collapsed, no one expected this. The victory of Ukraine in this war is a historical chance for us to become free nations.
– Are they working in the League of Free Nations to ensure that the Russian Federation disintegrates as soon as possible?
– The League of Nations works closely with all the colonized peoples. Holds conferences and street events, where deputy. Prime Minister of independent Tatarstan for national and religious issues – Aida Abdrakhmanov and deputy. Prime Minister of independent Tatarstan for sports – Nafis Kashapov. Make appeals to different authorities. Including foreign ones. In addition to the League of Nations, there is also the Free Idel-Ural movement, the Post-Russian Forum of Free Peoples and other organizations that unite the colonized peoples. They are working, we must destroy the criminal empire. On these ruins we must create states independent of Muscovy.
What is the current situation in Tatarstan? Are people ready to take part in protests against mobilization?
“For 24 hours, all channels and news agencies broadcast about the war in Ukraine and zombify people. Starting from kindergartens. Recently, in a Kazan gymnasium, Tatar children were forced to raise their hands, as children and adults in Nazi Germany once raised their hands. That is, the Russian Nazi regime is working in kindergartens, schools and universities. This is unthinkable. In Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, Udmurtia, there are partisan detachments that go to other subjects of the Russian Federation and there they commit sabotage. People tried several times to protest, but they were taken straight to the police station with placards and fined. And in Kazan, a protester was beaten to death. Putin’s fascist regime has taken control of protests and rallies against mobilization and war. After the introduction of electronic summonses, people from Tatarstan again began to go abroad.
Do they understand in Tatarstan that this is not their war?
— Is the corresponding work carried out on the information front? About 60% understand this. In particular, that the Russian-Chechen war was foreign to us, like the Russian-Georgian and Russian-Syrian wars. By the way, a lot of Muslim Tatars went to fight in Syria. They fought against Russian invaders in Syria. Now many Tatars want to fight in Ukraine, but they were not allowed to go there. Personally, I know 15 people who were going to fight as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Russians, but they were not allowed in by the Ukrainian military. Although the Bashkir battalion was allowed in, but we were not. Why such a bureaucracy, I do not understand. After all, our people wanted to create a Tatar battalion in Ukraine or a battalion of Idel-Ural with representatives of all peoples. In particular, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Chuvashia and so on.
Do citizens understand that in Russia they are committing genocide against the Tatar people, sending them to war in Ukraine?
The genocide has been going on since 1552. After the capture of the Kazakh Khanate, we were physically destroyed and genocide was organized over us. This is still going on. Many Tatars became Russians. A policy of forced Christianization and Russification began. With regard to Muslims, the same Tatars, Bashkirs, Chuvash, Udmurts, Mari, Buryats, Dagestanis, and so on, genocide has been going on for many centuries. We can resist this only by uniting with the peoples of the Caucasus and Siberia. There is no other way out. We are working in this direction, but we need help from the EU and NATO countries to help with weapons. Our military, who served in the USSR and the Russian Federation, are already training in Turkey, Kazakhstan, and some are fighting in Ukraine against the Russian invaders. They are preparing to defend our Republic of Tatarstan from the Russian regime in the future.
— How aggressive is the Russification process in Tatarstan? How critical is it for the self-identification of the Tatars?
– The situation is very difficult. We are the second largest in Russia after the Russians. There are 2.1 million of us in Tatarstan and 1.5 million in Bashkortostan. However, with regard to the Tatar language, we have a tragic situation. During Putin’s rule alone, 4,000 Tatar-speaking schools and gymnasiums were closed across the entire Russian Federation. And 11 thousand Tatar specialists who taught their native language were fired. This is moral genocide against us. All Tatars are subject to forced Russification. If this practice against the Tatars in Russia continues, then in 20 years there will be nothing left of us.
— Do they understand this in Tatarstan? Do they want to revive the national language and culture?
– They understand. Internet resources are being opened for teaching the Tatar language. Even those who are 40-60 years old are starting to learn their native language and this is a very positive trend. We must preserve the language and culture for the youth. For their, in all mosques throughout the Russian Federation, Tatar courses were opened, where children and youth are taught the Tatar language. But this is not systematic work, because back in the 90s we had full-fledged lyceums and gymnasiums. It was a powerful wave. But we don’t lose heart. Many Tatars in the USSR were worried about the language, culture and customs of our people. As soon as the union collapsed, then in all major cities and in the Volga Republic, the Tatars rose up and demanded that Tatar schools and gymnasiums be opened, Tatar newspapers, radio broadcasting and television channels should be resumed. In those years, a lot was done, but now all this has been destroyed during the Putin regime.
– Are the Tatars ready to fight for independence and secede from the Russian Federation?
– Ready. But now people can’t do anything. Everything is kept under the control of the FSB, the GRU, the police. It is they who control the activists. Our compatriots travel outside Tatarstan, the Idel-Ural republics and commit acts of sabotage. They also put up leaflets and write on the walls with an appeal to give freedom to the Tatar people. They also condemn the war against the invaders – the Muscovites, who started a full-scale war in Ukraine.
– How can the national revival of Tatarstan begin?
– We will appeal to all Tatars who live throughout the Russian Federation, as well as in foreign countries. We will raise the Tatars so that they take an active part in the revival of our people. In particular, that they participate in all actions and events for the creation of an independent Tatarstan and autonomous republics throughout the Russian Federation. A lot of Tatars live in Orenburg, Samara, Udmurtia, Ulyanovsk, Perm Territory and Siberia. We have already started working with them. In the future, we will approach all problems more systematically. Society is already starting to wake up. A lot of closed telegram channels and groups were created. For example, Samara, Ulyanovsk Tatars and so on. These groups are working on why we should destroy the Russian Federation. After all, until the criminal empire collapses, we will not be able to create our own independent state.
