In Russia, representatives of six national movements made a public statement about the creation of the League of Free Nations – a political platform for the struggle for freedom and sovereignty.
This was reported by the social movement “idel-ural.org”.
It is noted that the purpose of the platform is the decolonization of the nations of Russia and the acquisition of real sovereignty by its subjects. The initiative united Bashkir, Buryat, Ingush, Kalmyk, Erzyan and Udegei activists.
“Today, as a result of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, global political changes are taking place, which give us a chance to move from an object state to a subject state. I see that many other peoples have the same desire,” said a member of the Ayrat-Kalmyk Congress of the people Volodymyr Dovdanov.
The chief elder of the Erzyan people, Syres Bolyaen, said that the League of Free Nations is open to new members and invited everyone who shares anti-imperial views and recognizes the right of peoples to self-determination to join.
It is reported that the next practical steps are the establishment of contacts with European, Turkish and Kazakh public organizations and political parties.
