Saudi Arabia demands from Russia to comply with the terms of oil production reductio.

This was reported by The Wall Street Journal with reference to sources.

According to the newspaper, high-ranking officials of Saudi Arabia sent complaints to their Russian colleagues.

The publication stated that disagreements between the world’s two largest oil producers are heating up on the eve of the ministerial meeting of the OPEC+ countries in early June in Vienna.

A number of OPEC+ countries announced a voluntary cut in oil production in early April. Russia and Saudi Arabia agreed to cut production by 500,000 b/s from May until the end of the year.

The IEA said that in April, the Russian Federation did not reduce oil production to the declared volumes. In April, the export of Russian oil increased to peak values and amounted to 8.3 million b/d.
