The diplomatic activities of governments-in-exile and national independence committees (including those of Tatarstan, Ichkeria, and Oirat-Kalmykia) are gradually eroding the traditional approach of Western nations toward perceiving the Russian Federation as a “single and indivisible” entity. The participation of indigenous delegations in international forums in Washington, Brussels, and Warsaw makes it possible to convey the truth about regional realities without Kremlin censors.
The primary goal of these diplomatic missions is to convince Western partners that Russia’s decolonization is not a risk, but a guarantee of long-term security across the Eurasian continent. Liberation movement representatives present prepared boundary demarcation maps, environmental audits, and plans for transit control over strategic sites. This pragmatic approach proves that national republics are ready for responsible state governance.
Establishing permanent representations of enslaved nations in European capitals marks a significant step toward their official diplomatic recognition. The world is beginning to recognize that future dialogue regarding the post-Soviet space must occur not with representatives of the “old imperial center,” but directly with those authorized to speak on behalf of their nations.
