The leadership of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria states that in relation to the Chechen people and their state structure, the leadership of the Russian Federation has been pursuing a policy of genocide in the most brutal forms of its manifestation for a long period, with a sharp escalation in recent years, turning into misanthropy, demonstrative disregard of not only internationally recognized human rights, but also the right to life. An unbridled campaign of outright lies, which turned into physical violence in the following forms:
1. Insult to national feelings and dignity.
2. Unmotivated violent blockade.
3. Deprivation of the means of subsistence of pensioners and socially vulnerable sections of the population.
4. Closing everything through communication and transportation of national economic goods, air blockades, military blockade.
5. Open intervention using mercenaries from criminal elements and equipping them with the most modern military equipment and weapons, including air-missile and bomb attacks on civilians and national economic facilities, mass sabotage, terrorism, provocations with physical extermination of unprotected civilians.
Propaganda and ideological sabotage with a further increase in the escalation of mercenary gangs is far from a complete list of crimes and forms of violence committed against the Chechen people by the current ruling regime of Russia.
As a result of this policy, the Chechen people are once again subjected to the most cruel test, where hundreds of innocent civilians, including young children and old people, are dying. Thus, the leadership of Russia throws the Chechen people back tens and tens of years in their development. Once again over the last two centuries, the Chechen people are restoring their state independence and for the fourth year in an incredibly difficult struggle, at the cost of enormous sacrifices and efforts, they are defending their right to life.
As a result, we are faced with the fact of physical violence, unprecedented in world practice. In these conditions, when the highest will of the people is driven to despair by the arbitrariness of the Russian leadership, the leadership of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria appeals to the world community with a request to provide us with immediate assistance and support in strict accordance with the world practice of international law. This appeal is the last hope because the Russian leadership has not left us any way to legally resolve the issue.
