Anti-imperial Block of Nations

The Anti-Imperial Block of Nations has sent an appeal to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to protect and prevent the extradition of Chechen oppositionist Mansur Movlayev from Kazakhstan.
The ABN structures plan to send similar appeals to the embassies of Kazakhstan in the USA and Canada.

We present the full text of the appeal.

Appeal
of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations
to the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Anti-Imperial Block of Nations thanks the Kazakh people for their support of Ukraine! We appreciate Kazakhstan’s significant contribution to international humanitarian assistance provided to Ukrainians during these challenging times of war.

Our organisation was founded during World War II. From 1943 to the present day, the ABN has been conducting decolonisation, human rights, and information activities aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of humans and enslaved nations.

Our predecessors made considerable efforts to ensure that Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and other independent states emerged from the ruins of the USSR in 1991. Today we defend the rights of the enslaved nations who are in the so-called Russian Federation: Bashkirs, Tatars, Chuvash, Chechens, Ingush, Yakuts and others. Due to the arbitrariness of the authoritarian regime, many representatives of these nations are forced to seek salvation abroad. One of them is Mansur Movlayev, who is now asking for protection in Kazakhstan.

We appeal to the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan to grant asylum to the representative of the Chechen nation, Mansur Movlayev.

Mansur Movlaev is a well-known Chechen public figure and human rights activist. After the beginning of political persecution in his homeland, which threatened his life and health, he managed to leave the territory of the Russian Federation. He is currently in Kazakhstan under extradition arrest. The potential extradition of Mansur Movlaev to Chechnya poses a great danger to his life.

We ask the authorities and courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan to refuse the extradition of Mansur Movliev and grant him the right to asylum in democratic and free Kazakhstan.

For our and your freedom!

Sincerely,

President

Anti-Imperial Block of Nations
