The Committee of the Independence of the Republic of Sakha, in accordance with the right of the people to self-determination, and as part of the implementation of the tasks of protecting the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Sakha, decides on the formation of the Army of the Republic of Sakha.
This decision is the only possible response to the many years of occupation and oppression of our people by the Russian Empire in all its forms.
The coming inevitable collapse of the Russian Federation will not be the first fall of the Russian Empire for our Republic.
Previously, our people, enslaved by the Moscow tsars, witnessed the collapse of tsarist Russia, and later the collapse of the USSR.
Each of these natural outcomes of cruel predatory imperial rule was met with enthusiasm by our people, making active attempts to throw off the yoke and achieve our legitimate right – sovereignty and independence for our people.
Our ancestors never gave up their freedom voluntarily. We have never accepted the role of slaves. We raised dozens of uprisings against the Russian Empire and successfully fought for our independence in the period 1918-1924.
We never gave up, no matter how superior the forces of our imperial enslavers. Every time history gives us a chance to achieve independence and freedom for our people, we use this chance and fight for our destiny.
In the very coming years, the Russian Federation, like the USSR before it, like the Russian Empire before it, will again be destroyed as a result of its insane, inhuman, anti-people foreign and domestic policy. This will inevitably lead to confrontation within the Russian elites, various PMCs and gangs.
To protect the borders of our republic, as well as the life, health and well-being of our citizens, from aggressive actions at the time of the next collapse of the Russian Federation, we announce the creation of the Army of the Republic of Sakha.
Today, our people have a historic opportunity to fulfill the dreams of our ancestors and throw off the age-old yoke of the empire, against which they fought for many centuries. This opportunity requires us to create our own armed forces – the Army of the Republic of Sakha.
To realize our historic chance, today we declare our determination to defend our right to sovereignty and freedom by all means, including the methods of armed resistance.
