“Underrated War 5 Days”
15 years ago, Russia sent troops to the territory of Georgia (Sakartvelo) under the guise of “peacekeeping troops”. The government of Independent Tatarstan in exile expresses its solidarity and sorrow to the friendly Georgian people. We understand all the horror that all the citizens of Georgia had to go through, but at the same time, the absurdity of the situation in which Georgia also had to prove that they were attacked. Russian troops, having directly provoked and intervened in your internal conflict, bombarded Georgian cities, military bases and civilian infrastructure, and also deployed their naval forces.
Today, we can say with confidence that the Russian-Georgian 5-day war was underestimated by the international community in 2008, so further Russian aggression in Syria, the annexation of Crimea and a full-scale war in Ukraine followed…
Today, Georgia is still living with the consequences of that terrible tragedy 15 years ago. We remind you that the ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili in the prison hospital said the following words to the security forces: “You are a slave of Putin! What does it mean to calm down! You are fulfilling Putin’s task!”, This fact once again proves the occupation of the territory of Georgia by Muscovites.
We have one enemy with the freedom-loving people of Georgia, who today threatens to destabilize the whole world, established on certain rules and international order. The obvious solution to this threat can only be the peaceful and controlled decolonization of Russia and its division into small, independent, democratic and civilized states.
Georgians – for your and our freedom!
