Anti-imperial Block of Nations

“In April 1957, Yaroslav Stetsko, the Head of the Antibolshevik Bloc of Nations, visited Australia. His two-month stay in Australia was largely responsible for consolidating Ukrainian positions internally and externally. There were 6 trips to all the states of Australia, during which they gave about 15 speeches. They visited some prominent Australian personalities, such as city officials, politicians, ambassadors, senators and church dignitaries. They visited the Minister of emigration, the Japanese and Chinese ambassadors and press conferences and discussion dinners were held in each state. The main theme of all those conferences, gatherings and meetings was to help the Ukrainian people in their liberation struggle and joint action against communism. Connections were also established with other national groups that recognize the ideas of the ABN and have no hostile imperialistic intentions towards Ukraine.

The life of Mr. Y. Stetsko popularized the Ukrainian problem in this area and was an impetus for the deployment of greater activity in all aspects.”
