On 31 December 1993, the first president of the independent Republic of Georgia, Zviad Gamsakhurdia, was assassinated.
The story of the righteous and martyr Zviad Gamsakhurdia is not only my business, or the business of those citizens of Georgia who remained faithful to a free Georgia, which Russia tore apart in December 1991 with the help of traitors, collaborators, and war criminals from the Shevardnadze camp.
This is the business of all people today who wish to choose the right side of history and reject the devil’s lies.
Time stops while the righteous one speaks.
It is no coincidence that New Year’s Eve forever united the passing year with the death of the hero of Georgia, Zviad Gamsakhurdia, on 31 December, and the birthday of the Hero of Ukraine, Stepan Bandera, on 1 January.
