Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Today we remember the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in the Ukrainian SSR, which was caused, among other things, by the policies of the Soviet leadership and resulted in millions of human casualties.
In 2006, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared the Holodomor an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people. Over time, the Holodomor was recognized as an act of genocide by thirty other states and several international associations, and several other states and associations recognized it as the result of the policies of the totalitarian Stalinist regime. The “Father of the Genocide Convention,” Dr. Raphael Lemkin, who coined the term, said in 1953 that “the destruction of the Ukrainian nation” was a “classic example of genocide.”
On 25 July 2023, the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile officially recognized the Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
We share this mournful date of the Ukrainian nation and will always remember it!
Sincerely,
Rafis Kashapov is the Prime Minister of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in exile;
Aida Abdrakhmanova – Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile for National and Religious Issues;
