The holiday of war and aggression: who in Ukraine celebrates May 9 | Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Today,9 May, Ukraine will celebrate Europe Day for the second time. A year ago, on 8 May 2023, this holiday was introduced by a decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Russia continues to celebrate the victory over Nazism in World War II on 9 May. Moreover, it has recently turned Victory Day into a cult of war and a propaganda tool, justifying aggression in Ukraine and threats to the “collective West”.

Candidate of Historical Sciences and Executive Director of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations Oleh Vitvitskyi spoke in more detail about the “victorious people”.
