Anti-imperial Block of Nations

The villages of Belgorod Oblast have deep Ukrainian roots, so the events taking place there have a historical component.

Viktor Bobirenko, an expert of the “Bureau of Analysis and Policy”, explained this on the  “Espresso” broadcast.

“Where the RDK entered is Tyotkino, and here is our Ryzhivka – there is even one street, a road, you don’t even notice how you get to Rosyushka from Ukraine. I do not think that there will be any military effect from this, it is, of course, a political effect before the elections to show the same Scholz again that we should not be afraid to hand over the Taurus to us if we are already walking around Russia with our feet. Even though it is not the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is the Russian volunteer corps allied to us, which is equipped and armed in the same way as the state of Ukraine, let’s be honest,” said Bobirenko.

The expert added that the Russian Federation had already reported the liquidation of 300 Russian volunteers, although they did not have large troops there.

“This proves that they do not expect our offensives, they do not expect us to enter the Russian Federation, yet they can enter, but we will not go there. Not only that, in 2022, when we first crossed the border, they fired at us in the first few months, but we did not respond to them, that was it. It passed. Now, if there is a knock, ours will respond without hesitation,” said Bobirenko.

“So that we can understand why they came to Tyotkino and succeeded. First of all, I want to tell the audience that Tyotkino, Suja, Graivoron are all Slobozhanshchyna, they are all Ukrainian ethnic villages and they speak the same dialect as I do,” Bobirenko emphasized.

He recalled that in the 2000s when he visited and explored the Belgorod region and the Ukrainian-Russian border with students, the residents still considered themselves Ukrainians more than twenty years ago.

“It’s different now because the propaganda is working, many still speak Surzhik (a combination of the two languages) and consider themselves Russian,” the expert added.

It will be recalled that on Thursday, 14 March, the “Freedom of Russia” legion, which is fighting the Putin regime on the territory of the Russian Federation,  called for the urgent evacuation of residents of settlements bordering Ukraine due to the beginning of active hostilities.

At the same time, the Russian authorities are blocking the evacuation of civilians in the Belgorod region, where a raid by Russian volunteers continues. Panic is growing among residents.
