Freedom or death! Consul of Ichkeria in Italy Francesco Benedetti

Francesco, a historian and author of a book about the independence of Ichkeria “Freedom or Death,” came to an event related to the anniversary of the deportation of the Chechen people. Then the Ichkerians interrupted the event and went in a huge column to the European Parliament. Akhmed Zakaev appealed to the President of Ukraine with the initiative to form a Foreign Legion as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Two years have passed. Shamil Zakaev is fighting as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russia.
