The end of the war in Ukraine, final and eternal, is possible only under one condition: the destruction of the Russian Federation as a state. This “empire” will not know peace as long as Ukraine exists. The Russians themselves chose this path. And it’s not just the current leadership of the Kremlin. Starting with the tsars and ending with the KGB men at the helm, this “empire” has always had and to this day has only two options: expansion or destruction. The task of our state is to bring the latter closer.
A significant weakening of the potential of the occupation army, the undermining of its economy, and even Ukraine’s entry into NATO will also not guarantee that sooner or later the “empire,” having gathered new forces, will not again move troops in a new attempt at expansion. If the Kremlin launches a campaign against NATO countries, Ukraine will be the first country to be swept away. Therefore, our country has only one option to solve this problem: transfer the war to the territory of the Russian Federation and destroy it as a state. This is a task for ten years. This opinion was expressed in an exclusive interview with OBOZ.UA by pilot-instructor, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and military expert Roman Svitan.
– Security expert Michael Peck on the pages of the CEPA publication voiced five scenarios for ending the war in Ukraine. In particular, one in which the war must inevitably end sooner or later – just as all wars end sooner or later. Indeed, there was the same Thirty Years’ War, but it also ended. At the same time, you are convinced that the war in Ukraine will not end until the Russian Federation collapses.
– The Thirty Years’ War (the first pan-European war in 1618–1648 between a union of Catholic and a coalition of Protestant states. – Ed.) ended because certain preconditions arose at precisely this level. A war with Russia is a war to destroy one or another ethnic group. The Russians chose this path. They cannot see their existence if we exist. Therefore, our task is to destroy them, otherwise they will destroy us. There are simply no other options here.
If not now, then later the war will return and our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and so on, will fight. Understanding this, the war can only be ended by the collapse of Russia. It is necessary to destroy Russia until it is destroyed. Otherwise, we will not exist.
– Do you think that we are talking about something more than the colossal influence of propaganda on the minds of Russians? After all, the power in Russia will inevitably change, perhaps adequate people will come…
– No. It doesn’t matter what kind of power there will be – one, another, third, fourth… Over the past hundreds of years, power in Russia has changed dozens of times. Tsars, communists, socialists, KGBists and anyone else. But the task itself does not change – the task of the empire is to expand.
As long as the empire exists, it will expand. Or another option – it will fall apart. There is no third option. An empire cannot be static. It either disintegrates or expands. The expansion of the empire means the destruction of Ukraine and Ukrainian identity.
That is why we can have only one task – to destroy the empire as such.
– Indeed, history teaches that all empires expand or collapse. But we see that this so-called Russian empire is not expanding towards NATO. Perhaps Ukraine’s membership in NATO would be a reliable guarantee for us that our state will not be absorbed by Russia.
– This empire is not yet expanding towards NATO. It will begin to expand when there is such an opportunity. Since Ukraine is at the forefront, that is, on the line of contact with the empire, we will be the first to be destroyed.
Now we have the opportunity to destroy the empire. But in the future, when it expands, it will have the ability to destroy us. There is no third option. The third option is our destruction, that is, the same as the first one, but in a different form.
– But there is another option – destroying the Russian army or bringing it to a state where it will not be able to fight wars, destroying the resources of the Russian Federation, oil bases, warehouses, and so on. Is it not so?
– These are all targeted and temporary measures. After a certain time, the army is restored and the bases are restored. If there is an empire, it will restore it. Therefore, without the destruction of the “Russian Empire”, without the destruction of this state, we will never have a peaceful life. We no longer have it, ten years have passed. But we are one thing, and our children are another. Leave this gamble to them? This is wrong for those who come after us.
Therefore, there is only one option – war until the “Russian empire” is completely destroyed.
– How might this look in practice? Is this a war on Russian territory?
– Yes, definitely. The actions that are currently being taken will be intensified in the future. Their goal is the destruction of the Russian economy, Russian potential, and the whole complex of what feeds the empire. All this must be destroyed, from St. Petersburg to Sakhalin.
To do this, we need to involve the DRG, our supporters on Russian territory, who think the same way as we do, and who understand that Russia must be destroyed by leaving it. Starting from the Caucasians and ending with the fighting Buryats and Yakuts. That is, the national liberation movements in the “Russian Empire” will help us.
We still have ten years to fight before the collapse of the empire. The war will be on our territory for a couple of years until we move them, and then the war will spread to Russian territory. Everything will burn. Just like they brought us to this state. At the moment, we as a state do not exist without external support. And Russia will be brought to the same state, to complete ruin, to complete economic destruction.
This can be done – by returning them back to the swamp state. Then someone will help them. China, North Korea. They will send rice… Iran may send dates or whatever they have.
– Just about the military assistance to Ukraine that you mentioned. We understand how much our country depends on it today. The situation with the political crisis in the United States showed this very clearly. But even now our Western allies are afraid to provoke Putin at the front in Ukraine, not to mention allowing the use of their weapons on Russian territory. Can they mature enough to understand such a need?
– They are not afraid of anything, no provocation. This is simply an excuse for your inaction at the moment. And also, probably, engagement with certain relations with the Russian Federation. These are mainly mercantile interests: money, influence, power. The initial problem was the conventional gas needle, and this had to be covered up with something. That’s why stories about escalation and so on are made up.
During combat operations, all means of destruction that the army currently has are used. Because no one will allow their army to die if it is possible to prevent this, to prevent their military from dying.
The Russians used all the weapons available to them. This is the first point. Secondly, as soon as they have new weapons, as soon as they come up with something new, they immediately use it. Therefore, there will definitely not be any escalation, because the escalation is already at its maximum.
