The Portuguese stage of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations’ human rights tour began with a visit by the ABN delegation to the Portuguese Parliament. The day before, it was reported that the Portuguese government had allocated 50 million euros for the purchase of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Communities, Dr. José Cesario, ABN President Oleh Medunytsya thanked him for such a decision, as well as for the constant support of Ukraine. At the same time, Oleh Medunytsya introduced the Portuguese deputy to the main components of the ABN human rights project, calling for support for the cause of the liberation of political prisoners of the Kremlin regime, who represent the national liberation movements of enslaved peoples.

José Cesario assured further support for Ukraine in its fight against the Moscow enemy and pledged to transfer the materials of the ABN human rights project to all political forces represented in the Portuguese parliament.
The public presentation of the project took place at the Lisbon Museum. The event was partnered by the Union of Ukrainians in Portugal. On the eve, the head of the Union, Pavlo Sadosa, was presented with a certificate of gratitude from the Defenсe Fund of Ukraine for the constant and comprehensive assistance provided by the Union of Ukrainians in Portugal to the Ukrainian military, in particular to members of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (Bandera members) who are at the front.
During the presentation, ABN President Oleh Medunytsya presented a thematic banner exhibition and spoke about the histories of the struggle and hardships of Putin’s real prisoners – activists of the national liberation movements of enslaved nations.
Another presentation of the ABN human rights project took place in the city of Porto, bringing together local politicians, public figures, and representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora.
