Anti-imperial Block of Nations

In this war against Ukraine, the aggressive Russian state uses the constant readiness of Russian society to attack other countries.

The Russians are kept in mobilization readiness. They have constant military propaganda, as Russia is a military society. Unfortunately, for almost all the years of independence, we Ukrainians lived under the absolute domination of the ideology of pacifism, for some reason being sure that if we do not want to fight against anyone, then no one wants to fight against us either.

It was a national strategic mistake. We should have lived by the ancient Roman proverb: “If you want peace, prepare for war.” Our political elite preferred not to see real threats to Ukraine.

Even after 2014, when the Russian Federation occupied Crimea and Donbas, some of our citizens joked about warnings of the further advance of the aggressor’s troops deep into the territory of Ukraine with the following words: “Will Putin attack?”. They said, nothing would happen, they are just scaring us. Although by that time Putin had already attacked and captured a significant part of our land.

In addition, pro-Russian attitudes and pro-Russian illusions prevailed in Ukraine throughout the period of independence, both among politicians and among ordinary people. Many of our citizens believed in Russian democrats, “democratic” Russia. The author of these lines wrote back in the early 90s of the last century that there are no fundamental differences between a Russian democrat and a Russian fascist in their attitude towards Ukraine. They differ only in the methods of realizing their common goal: the liquidation of the Ukrainian Independent Unified State. Fascists propose to do it brutally, in a bestial way, with mass murders, and bloodshed, and the democrats want to do it less brutally, more liberally. But they have a common ideal: a world without Ukraine.

For many years after the Declaration of Independence, our people professed naive thoughts about humane, kind, sociable Russian people, sincerely believing that there, in Russia, only politicians are scoundrels, and the people are wonderful and friendly toward us. Our ordinary folk did not know, and intellectuals did not explain to them, that Russians have a very bad and well-deserved reputation in the world. Why, for example, did the great Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung say about them: “In the soul of a Russian, unlike a European, lives a cunning, malicious animal”?

Pushkin’s words about the Russians: “A nation indifferent to the smallest duty, to the smallest act of justice, to the smallest truth, a nation that does not recognize human dignity, that does not fully recognize either a free person or a free thought.”

The question here is not even about the character of the government, but about some specific features of this nation, the Russians, which constantly bring to power tyrants and dictators, all kinds of bloodthirsty criminals like Ivan the Terrible, Peter I, Lenin, Stalin, and now Putin.

The people of this nation openly, even with pleasure, write and tell you how they will destroy the Ukrainian state, destroy the Ukrainian nation, they will kill nationally conscious Ukrainians, and send the rest to concentration camps. So it’s not about Putin, but about the “good, kind” Russian people who support their leader in his most disgusting actions.

Some Russian liberals who currently live outside of Russia claim that the Russian people do not support Putin, but are afraid to say so, because they will be thrown into prison, fined many thousands of rubles, etc. Why, then, are Russians in Germany, France, and other European countries, where nothing threatens them, where there are no FSB, Russian courts, etc. going to mass demonstrations in support of Putin? Russian democrats cannot answer this question.

Some Russian authors explain these features of the Russian people. For example, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, who in his youth was a political prisoner of the USSR, and at the end of his life became friends with Putin’s guards and thereby spoiled his obituary. But sometimes Solzhenitsyn had moments of truth and he wrote the truth, for example:

“There is no person in this world smaller, meaner and ruder than a “katsap” (a Kremlin servant).

Born in a Nazi country, fed Nazi propaganda – this scum will never become a Man. His country has no friends – they are either rogues or enemies. His country can only threaten, humiliate and kill. For the preservation of this state of Russia, the average katsap is ready to sacrifice his own life, the lives of his parents and children, and the quality of life of his own people. Truly: couches are beasts. Fierce, bloodthirsty, but… mortal.” As for this fact, soldiers and officers of the Defense Forces of Ukraine confirm this to us every day at the battlefront. Today, more than 350,000 katsap aggressors are rotting on Ukrainian soil.

The time for the liberation of all Ukrainian territories will surely come.
