On December 12, 2023, fundraising for the support of the Siberian Battalion began. This was announced on the official page of the Defense Fund of Ukraine on Facebook. This type of collection is being held in Ukraine for the first time.
“Representatives of the Siberian Battalion, a unit formed as part of the International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, turned to us for help in providing the necessary military equipment and ammunition,” the FOU said in a statement. – The battalion has already passed the baptism of fire in the Avdiyiv direction. In its composition, natives of Siberia, serve: Buryats, Yakuts and representatives of other enslaved nations who did not want to become imperial “cannon fodder”, but made a conscious choice to fight for Ukraine.
The “Siberian Battalion” is a prototype of the liberation armies of the enslaved nations, which, after Ukraine’s victory in the war, will free their native lands from the Moscow yoke, choosing their independence.
The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Banderites), which restored the work of the Defense Fund of Ukraine, has long been known for supporting the struggle of enslaved nations. The creation and long-term activity of the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations, and the formation of national military units within the UPA are only the main features of such work.
It is time to revive the good tradition of supporting armed formations of enslaved nations who are fighting for our and their Freedom!
We support the aspirations of other nations for independence and struggle against Russia. Therefore, we are opening a large collection for eco-flow, inventory generators and other equipment and needs for the organization of the battalion’s activities”, – the message of the FOU-Fund of the OUN emphasizes.
