Anti-imperial Block of Nations

Zarema Musaeva is the mother of human rights defender Abubakar Yangulbaev, who became a victim of repression in Chechnya. In January 2022, she was kidnapped from her own apartment and forcibly taken to Chechnya on false charges.

Kadyrov personally confessed to the kidnapping, threatening her family with blood revenge. Zarema was sentenced to 5 years in prison, where she remains today, despite serious health problems. Her case is a vivid example of how those who are not afraid to tell the truth are punished in Chechnya.

We must demand the release of Zarema! She should not remain behind bars.
